Why neon instead of a printed panel

A printed sign works while the sun is up. A lit sign works at dusk, in bad weather, and after closing time — which is exactly when a passer-by decides whether your business is open. LED neon draws around 35 W, roughly €25 of electricity a year running ten hours a day, and lasts 100,000 hours. It is the cheapest permanent visibility you can buy per year of use.

Indoors or on the facade

Window-mounted signs read from the sidewalk and need no weatherproofing: 60 to 80 cm is the standard. A facade sign read from across the street wants 100 to 120 cm, and the Waterproof IP67 option (+25%) becomes mandatory — rain, frost and snow included. Every sign ships with three mounting kits: through-screws, standoffs for a floating look, and chains for hanging in a window without drilling the glass.
