Article 4 — Order
The customer's order validation constitutes unreserved acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. The customer receives a confirmation email after completing their order.
For personalized products, manufacturing begins after the customer's approval of the print proof (BAT). No modifications can be made after BAT validation.
Article 5 — Payment
Payment is due at the time of order. Accepted payment methods are:

- PayPal
- Split payment in 3 or 4 interest-free installments via Klarna (subject to Klarna's approval)
Payment data is processed exclusively by PCI-DSS Level 1 certified providers. Lumicorne does not have access to the customer's full bank details.
Article 6 — Delivery
6.1 Delivery Zones
Lumicorne delivers to mainland France and internationally. Delivery in mainland France is free. For deliveries outside France, shipping costs may apply depending on the destination and are communicated to the customer before order confirmation.
6.2 Delivery Times
The delivery time is 10 to 15 working days from order confirmation or BAT validation for personalized products. This period includes manufacturing (approximately 7 working days) and shipping (3 to 5 working days depending on the destination).
In the event that the maximum period of 30 days provided for in article L.216-1 of the Consumer Code is exceeded, the customer may cancel the contract by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt or in writing on another durable medium, unless the delay is due to a force majeure event, a duly justified carrier delay, or a customs blockage attributable to the recipient when the latter refuses to pay import duties and taxes.
6.3 Customs Formalities (Deliveries outside the European Union)
For any delivery outside the European Union or in the overseas departments and regions (DOM-TOM), customs duties and import taxes may be payable upon receipt. These costs are entirely the responsibility of the recipient. Lumicorne cannot be held responsible for refusal of delivery resulting from the non-payment of these duties by the recipient.
Article 7 — Right of Withdrawal
7.1 Principle
In accordance with articles L.221-18 et seq. of the Consumer Code, the consumer customer has a period of 14 calendar days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify any reason or pay any penalty.
7.2 Exception — Personalized Products
In accordance with article L.221-28 3° of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts "for the supply of goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized."
Lumicorne's custom signs (personalized text, logo, specific design, adapted dimensions) are therefore excluded from the right of withdrawal once manufacturing has begun after the customer's approval of the print proof (BAT).
This exclusion is explicitly stated on each product page concerned and on the order validation page, clearly and understandably before the customer's commitment.
7.3 Exercise Modalities
To exercise their right of withdrawal in cases where it applies, the customer can notify their decision by email to contact@lumicorne.com using the standard form below, or by any other unambiguous statement.
In accordance with article L.221-23 of the Consumer Code, the customer may handle the product to the extent necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and proper functioning of the good. Only depreciation resulting from handling exceeding this scope may lead to compensation.
The product must be returned in a condition allowing its resale within 14 days following notification. Return costs are the responsibility of the customer.

8.1 Legal Guarantee of Conformity
In accordance with articles L.217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code, Lumicorne is obliged to deliver a product that conforms to the contract and is liable for any conformity defects existing at the time of delivery.
In the event of a conformity defect, the customer may obtain conformity of the product (repair or replacement) or, failing that, a price reduction or cancellation of the contract. The legal guarantee of conformity is 2 years from the delivery of the product.
The customer does not have to prove the existence of the conformity defect during the 24 months following the delivery of the good.
8.2 Legal Guarantee Against Hidden Defects
In accordance with articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code, Lumicorne is liable for hidden defects in the sold item that render it unfit for its intended use, or that diminish this use so much that the buyer would not have acquired it, or would have given only a lesser price for it, had they known of them.
The action for a guarantee against hidden defects must be brought within 2 years from the discovery of the defect.
8.3 Lumicorne Commercial Warranty (2 years)
In addition to the legal guarantees mentioned above, Lumicorne grants its customers a commercial warranty of 2 years from the date of delivery.
This commercial warranty covers:

- Manufacturing defects not apparent upon receipt
The commercial warranty excludes:
- Damage resulting from improper use or incorrect installation by the customer
- Accidental or intentional breakage
- Normal wear and tear of the product
- Damage related to exposure to extreme conditions (humidity, thermal shock) for products not intended for outdoor use
To claim the commercial warranty, please send an email to contact@lumicorne.com with a description of the defect and supporting photos. Lumicorne undertakes to propose a solution within 5 working days (repair, replacement, or credit note).
This commercial warranty does not supersede the legal guarantees of conformity (Art. L.217-3 C. conso.) and hidden defects (Art. 1641 C. civ.) which continue to apply fully.
Article 9 — Returns and Refunds
All returns must be subject to a prior request by email to contact@lumicorne.com. The product must be returned in its original packaging in a condition allowing its resale, accompanied by the purchase invoice.
Return costs are borne by the customer, except in case of non-conformity, hidden defect, or error by Lumicorne.
The refund will be made using the same payment method as that used at the time of purchase, within a maximum of 14 days following receipt of the returned product, in accordance with Article L.221-24 of the Consumer Code.
Customized products cannot be returned or refunded, except in case of proven non-conformity, hidden defect, or application of a warranty.
The detailed procedure is specified in the returns and refunds policy available on the website.
Article 10 — Liability
Lumicorne is responsible for the proper execution of the contractual obligations provided in these GTC. Its liability is incurred in accordance with the provisions of common law.
Lumicorne cannot be held responsible for:
- Damage resulting from improper use of the product by the customer
- Damage resulting from an unforeseeable and irresistible external cause
- Cases of force majeure (strike, natural disaster, duly justified carrier delay, customs blockage attributable to the recipient)
These clauses do not affect the mandatory provisions of consumer law protecting the consumer.
Article 11 — Intellectual Property
All elements of the Lumicorne website (texts, graphics, logos, images, videos, layouts) are the exclusive intellectual property of PARANT Grégoire / Lumicorne. Any reproduction, representation, or use, even partial, of the elements of the site without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited and constitutes an infringement punishable by Articles L.335-2 et seq. of the Intellectual Property Code.

Article 14 — Final Provisions
If any stipulation of these GTC were declared null or inapplicable by a court decision, the other stipulations would remain fully in force.
The fact that Lumicorne does not invoke any of these conditions at a given time cannot be interpreted as a waiver of the right to invoke them later.
These GTC may be modified at any time. The applicable version is that in force on the date of the order.
