When Revolut set up at La Folie Douce, Lumicorne created the light installation
La Folie Douce in Val d'Isère is much more than just a high-altitude bar. It's a stage. A landmark venue in the French Alps, known for its live entertainment, artists, and large-scale brand events. This season, Revolut — one of Europe's most influential neobanks — chose this exceptional setting for its event activation.
And to decorate the space? Revolut called on Lumicorne.
6 custom LED signs, 2 meters each
Our mission: design and produce 6 illuminated signs in Revolut's colors, installed high on the main stage of La Folie Douce. Each sign measures 2 meters, for a strong and immediate visual presence — visible from the slopes, from the crowd, from the air.
The repeated format "Revolut · Revolut · Revolut" creates a continuous, recognizable, and impactful branding effect, even outdoors and in winter conditions.
A project designed for outdoors and large crowds
Designing a sign for an interior is one thing. Designing it for an open-air stage at 2,000 meters altitude, facing thousands of people, is another. Our outdoor signs are designed to withstand cold, humidity, and demanding environments — without ever sacrificing aesthetics or readability.
The result speaks for itself: photos and videos of the event show luminous signs in full sun, clear, impactful, perfectly integrated into the event's scenography.
